House in Hod Hasharon 1 2010
A private house in the city of Hod Hasharon. A plain box facing south with a pergola that shades the house's eyes from the glare of the sun in the summer, allowing a long gaze out into the remains of this ex-agricaltural landscape. The louvres that shade its south facade open up entirely when winter comes, to welcome the heat of the winter sun and let it warm its interior spaces. Monestary like austerity that betrays the nature of the owners and their love for the country side.
